About Us
Dancing Through the Storm is a nonprofit organization serving vulnerable individuals in Los Angeles County who are experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or barriers to stability.
Founded in 2023, the organization focuses on empowering individuals to rebuild confidence, strengthen self-worth, and access the resources they need to become productive members of their communities.
Our team is dedicated to supporting individuals through outreach programs, housing assistance, Substance Abuse Treatment, and community-based resources.
Who We Are
Our Team
DTTS board members consists of a CEO who is a single parent of 3 children. A treasurer who is a single parent of 3 children and one having down syndrome. Our secretary, who is also a single parent of 2 children. This board members of females stand together and have resources to support other single parents with kids, seniors and individuals with disabilities. Each member has recovered from “LIFE SHOWS UP PROBLEMS” and is able to share their experience, strength , and hope with our community. Our board members each have unique experience that qualifies them for their chair. DTTS is a growing organization that has it mind set on filling in the homeless gaps in Los Angeles county where it matters most. Each board member and team members are dedicated to making a difference and fulfill other duties outside of DTTS, giving back to the community.
