Our Programs

Dancing Through the Storm provides targeted programs designed to support vulnerable U.S. citizens in Los Angeles County.

We help single parents access resources that support both their children and their long-term stability.

Services may include:

  • Childcare resource referrals

  • Employment connections through local workforce centers

  • School enrollment assistance for children

  • Mental health and emotional support

  • Temporary shelter assistance when available

  • Meals, hygiene supplies, and essential resources 

  • Substance Abuse support

Our goal is to help families build stability and create a stronger future.

Single Parents with Two or More Children

We support senior citizens who may be experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or health challenges.

Services may include:

  • Assistance applying for SSI or SSDI benefits

  • Referrals for senior activity programs and adult day services

  • Applications for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)

  • Temporary shelter assistance when available

  • Meals, hygiene supplies, and emotional support 

  • Substance Abuse treatment referrals

We believe seniors deserve dignity, safety, and access to community support.

Senior Citizens

Individuals with Disabilities

We help individuals with disabilities connect with programs that support independence and long-term stability.

  • Housing and shelter resource referrals

  • Hygiene supplies, meals, and community support

  • Substance Abuse treatment referrals
