Support Through the Storm
Providing outreach services, housing support, and essential resources for U.S. citizens experiencing homelessness and hardship across Los Angeles County.
Our Mission
At Dancing Through the Storm, we believe that no one should have to face hardship alone.
Our nonprofit organization provides compassionate outreach services, hygiene support, temporary shelter assistance, and housing navigation for individuals experiencing housing instability. We work to strengthen self-esteem, support mental health, and help individuals take meaningful steps toward long-term stability and independence.
Who We Serve
Our programs focus on supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community, including:
Single Parents with Children
Senior Citizens
Disabled Individuals
How We Help
Through community outreach and resource connections, we provide several forms of support:
-
Our team connects individuals with local resources, housing programs, and community services that can help them move toward stability.
-
We distribute hygiene kits, food, and essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness or financial hardship.
-
When funding and resources allow, we help individuals connect with temporary shelter options to ensure safety and stability.
Inner Peace begins the moment you take a deep breath and choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions.
